It was round three of the British Superbike Championship at the weekend and both boys continued to demonstrate  excellent form in their respective classes.

Despite a bike destroying crash on Friday, Taylor still qualified in pole position and led Sunday's race from flag to flag extending his lead in the Pirelli Superstock 1000 Championship to eighteen points.

Tarran also qualified in pole position for Saturday’s Dickies Supersport sprint race but after three laps was taken out by another rider.  This meant he could only start from 7th on the grid for Sunday’s feature race but charged through to take 2nd place at the flag.

I’ve just had another amazing weekend on my Buildbase BMW S1000RR.  Unfortunately, I gave my team some major work on Friday after a 100mph plus crash at Paddock Hill bend.  I was fine but my bike wasn’t, so my dedicated team built me a brand new machine for the next day!  I got a cracking start for my 24 lap race and after pulling a 3 second lead was able to control things to the chequered flag.  I’m out again this weekend at Donington Park and hoping for more success at one of my favourite circuits.

Tarran.

I was pleased to get my first pole position in the 600cc Supersport class at the weekend but once again some bad luck stopped me having a fair shot at claiming my first victory.  The rider that took me out couldn’t race on Sunday so I was lucky not to get injured.  Being further back on the grid for Sunday’s race was challenging but I had great fun fighting my way to second and getting within 1.5 seconds of the leader at the chequered flag.  A big thanks as always to the WD40 Stauff Academy Team and of course all my personal sponsors.
