AGV Corsa Winter Test Limited Edition

Details of the new Valentino Rossi 'Winter Testing' Limited Edition.

Valentino Rossi is once more back in the saddle of the Yamaha M1 which brought him such satisfaction throughout the course of his career. In November 2012 at the Valencia track he tested the World Championship winning bike that was adorned with customised grey/black livery with its unmistakeable fluorescent yellow touches. Needless to say, the same colour scheme graced his Dainese D-air® Racing suit and AGV helmet.

Apart from his usual Sun and Moon graphics, Valentino choose to have an ideogram for the Japanese word “Kando” on the back of his Pista GP helmet. This word is used to indicate an intense emotion, such as that felt when seeing something exclusive, deeply satisfying and intensely exciting.

The word was first used by Masao Furusawa when Valentino arrived at Yamaha in 2004 and the version seen on the helmet was designed by Masao’s wife.

This highly unusual graphic will be available as a limited edition on the Corsa model which will go on sale from April at a RRP of £599. The Corsa is an innovative model created through AGV STANDARDS which is a new process that has revolutionised helmet design and testing. The AGV STANDARDS project began with Valentino Rossi as its point of reference and with his feedback as a vital part of its development.

The photos show the PistaGP helmet worn by Valentino during the tests at Valencia in 2012. The logos from other sponsors and the components and visor accessories are not included on the limited edition model.
