Although Ducati's Valentino Rossi is still perplexed as to why his experienced team of engineers still can't solve the front-end problem that has plagued him from the beginning of his career he has said that a package of improvements scheduled for the Laguna race won't be the last chance.

The Doctor said at Silverstone he would make a decision for 2013 by the Brno round, one after the California race, but he tempered that by adding that Ducati were working to make the bike competitive, which to him is the most important thing.

"For me our bike have a problem and we can't create enough front grip for turn the bike. At this moment we don't understand in which way we can fix and we don't understand what is the problem. With the setting we can move the bike to the front, all through the rear, move it up but at the end but remain always," said Rossi, speaking to bikesportnews.com.

"Sometimes you can go a little faster, sometimes a little bit slower but no way to fix this problem. For my point of view, the only thing is the competitiveness of the bike, the rest of the contract for me is not a big problem so I know that in Ducati they work a lot to bring something for the next races. Laguna is important to see what we can do but it is not the last chance."
