Mixed weather over the weekend at Brands Hatch made things tricky for everyone so the boys were happy to come away with points on the board.
Taylor struggled to find a good wet setting for his qualifying session and although his time improved for the sprint race, conditions he could only manage 17th position.
His pace was much better for the dry feature race, however, a poor grid position meant he could only get to 8th when the chequered flag came out.
Tarran's steep learning curve continued in the ultra competitive Superstock 600 class and although 27th on the grid he was only 1.4 seconds off pole position. He also had his first wet riding session of the season and soon became comfortable in very slippy conditions.

Tay Mac: I went to Brands expecting to be finish somewhere in the top five but not finding a good suspension setting for the wet put a spanner in the works! After a dry morning warm up my confidence returned but my poor lap time from Sunday's race meant I was way back on the grid. My pace was good enough for the top six but having to fight through traffic made things difficult. I'm back in the gym today and working extra hard to get my season back on course.

Taz Mac: I really enjoyed my first race weekend on the WD40 600 Kawasaki and learned loads in all kinds of conditions. My race was hectic with riders slamming into one another but I managed to stay out of trouble and score my first point by coming home in 15th position. I am testing at Oulton Park this Friday so should be ready for the next race there on 5th May.
