It’s been a difficult practice week so far at the Isle of Man TT fuelled by Monster Energy for all involved, with inclement weather conditions severely punctuating the practice sessions on Monday through to Wednesday.

Milwaukee Yamaha’s Conor Cummins is looking forward to the remaining sessions tonight [Thursday] and Friday and getting in the thick of the race action in Saturday’s opening six-lap Superbike TT.

Manxman Cummins backed up his team-mate saying: “Yeah it’s been busy for everyone, but also frustrating, as we haven’t had much track time. Hopefully that will change tonight and we get some decent laps in and start preparing for Saturday’s Dainese Superbike TT.

Team owner Shaun Muir concluded: “As a team we are really excited about the TT after the disappointment of the North West and we are optimistic Conor can have a good clean run. There’s a lot of expectation on us this year with William installed as one of the favourites in the Supersport class and Conor is undoubtedly one of the favourites in Superbike – but we’re happy with that.

“To be honest I believe we have a podium chance in every class this year at the TT as it’s the first time we have had two top class riders able to compete right at the front. We also have a top class crew with Mick and Pete heading up an experienced team and with that in place, we hope to give Milwaukee and are other sponsors a success and enjoyable TT.”
