An electrical problem which caused Valentino Rossi to lose valuable track time during the Sepang MotoGP test has reared its head again at Jerez today.

His number one bike suffered the fault and engineers are yet to figure out exactly which part it is that keeps failing. He apparently didn't suffer the fault at the completely dry Austin test.
"With bike number one we have some small problem like in Sepang but is always the same problem. We still don't understand which small part give us some problem but at the end I try also that bike and it looks ok," said The Doctor, speaking at Jerez.
It meant that a back-to-back test to try and figure out why he can't make the YZR-M1 stop as quickly as he would like had to be put on hold.
Rossi, along with Cal Crutchlow, was also critical of the wet tyre Bridgestone brought to the test, saying: "The bigger problem is that after five or six laps the rear tyre drop down a lot in grip because the 1000cc bike make the tyre finish very early so this may be a problem with the rain in the weekend of a race."
