Factory Yamaha's Valentino Rossi has outlined the improvements he has found after spending the afternoon riding his YZR-M1 MotoGP bike during the test at Misano.

The bike has a new engine and chassis which The Doctor has said is faster and has more traction but he also said the front-end has more feeling but added he wouldn't be using the bike at all this year.

"Is good, I like. It have some difference in the engine which is faster, some difference in the chassis for weight distribution and I like a lot, is good. At the beginning the feeling was a bit strange but after I continue with that bike and I make my best lap with the new bike," said the Italian.

"It have better traction in acceleration, better feeling with the front which is more stable, you can push more and in general give better feeling. The bike is for next year."

Rossi also spent the morning fine-tuning his 2013 bike and says he has made a step with setup and now has more stability under braking - a problem he has suffered with all year

"I was fast during all the day, we try some interesting things and is good because we improve our material and is good because we make a step for the next race, especially in braking for stop the bike in some different ways so is a positive test and now we have to take a rest and wait for Aragon."
