Rins wins ahead of Viñales and Marquez. Fenati climbs back from 15th position to seize 10th. Morbidelli is 21st in Moto2, while Bagnaia and Marini crash out.

In front of his home crowd, Romano Fenati (San Carlo Team Italia FMI FTR Honda#5) confirmed his grit during the race starting from 15th position and passing several opponents during the second half of the race to finish in the Top 10, a result that boosts his morale before the final races of the season.

Francesco Bagnaia (San Carlo Team Italia FMI FTR Honda#4) and wild-card Luca Marini (San Carlo Team Italia Twelve Racing) crashed out without injuries and were denied the satisfaction of seeing the checkered flag at home but not valuable experience ahead of their next efforts.

Franco Morbidelli (San Carlo Team Italia FMI) had a positive debut in Moto2, taking 21st position and showing both a great form and a constant pace throughout the race.

Romano Fenati (San Carlo Team Italia FMI FTR Honda#5)

"I'm happy because the bike fast fast and I managed to come back through the pack. After the half-way point, I was lapping just like the guys at the front. Unfortunately early on I lost time in the group, but the start is always a lottery and I have to improve during QP. But we have all the means to do better."

Francesco Bagnaia (San Carlo Team Italia FMI FTR Honda#4)

"I'm sorry because when I crashed out I was getting quicker, but unfortunately I lost the bike and couldn't pick it up. It's a shame becauseI felt comfortable on the bike, and the team worked really well."

Roberto Locatelli (FMI Technical Coordinator)

"Overall it's been a positive race. Romano was fast, he has great potential and we know that since a long time ago. We still have to do better in the first two days of the week-end, as we have the pace but always start from the back. I'm sorry for Pecco as he crashed out while showing great steps forward, but we are ready to proceed with his growth path."

Franco Morbidelli (San Carlo Team Italia FMI)

"I'm almost exhausted. The race went well, as I wanted to finish it and I was able to do that. I made a few mistaked, but overall I was consistent. I want to thank my team for their great work, FMI and San Carlo. This was a great opportunity, and I'm ready to chase the European title with even more confidence."

Luca Marini (San Carlo Team Italia Twelve Racing)

"Unfortunately I made a mistake and crashed out at Turn 1. I could have done a good race, but this experience on the world stage made me grow and change mindset. Now I only focus on the CIV races in Mugello, ready to give my best."

Both Fenati and Bagnaia raced with a unique fairing, showing the graphics drawn by Celestino Vietti Ramus of MiniGP and Davide Amantini of Minimoto, who won a design contest launched by Team Italia

San Carlo Team Italia FMI will be back on track on September 29 in Aragon.
