Romano Fenati (San Carlo Team Italia FMI FTR Honda#5) and Francesco Bagnaia (San Carlo Team Italia FMI FTR Honda#4) could not get on track today in Japan, where the second-to-last race of the Moto3 season is scheduled, because of bad weather. A thick fog forced the organizers to cancel the free practice sessions for all categories for safety reasons. In case of accidents, the emergency helicopter could not have transported the injured riders to the local hospital. The program should resume tomorrow. However, heavy rains are expected and the riders may be able to get on track only on Sunday.

Roberto Locatelli (FMI Technical Coordinator)

"It's a shame to lose important sessions to set up the bike and allow our riders to get acquainted with the track, but safety comes first. We hope the weather turns better soon because, as everybody else, we're eager to get back on track".
