Fenati conquers a solid eighth, while Bagnaia barely misses points in the final rush.

Alex Rins, with a perfect last lap, won today's race beating Maverick Viñales under the checkered flag. Romano Fenati (San Carlo Team Italia FMI FTR Honda#5), after another strong comeback from 14th to 8th, gave his best in the final laps to catch Folger, confirming his status as a leader for both Honda-FTR and Italy. In the world rankings Fenati leads the Italians and will try to finish in the Top 10 with four races to go. Francesco Bagnaia (San Carlo Team Italia FMI FTR Honda#4) confirmed his progressive growth, closing in 17th position, missing the Top 15 by only two tenths but making a wonderful comeback as he was 30th after the start. The Italian laid out the foundations for the Asian triple header.

Romano Fenati (San Carlo Team Italia FMI FTR Honda#5) 8th

"It's been a good race, I'm happy with the result. I wanted to enter in the Top 10 and I've done so thanks to the bike and the work done by the team. If we keep up the good work, we can have a strong finish to our season."

Francesco Bagnaia (San Carlo Team Italia FMI FTR Honda#4) 17th

"This was my best race so far. The team and I worked well throughout the sessions and my feeling on the bike improved significantly. Now I want to re-start from this base to finish my debut year as well as possible."

Roberto Locatelli (FMI Technical Coordinator)

"We worked well as a team here in Aragon. Romano was fast, catching the Top 10 and being first among Honda-FTR riders thanks to some setup modifications. Pecco only had a small hesitation at the start, but lapped consistently and climbed back many position with some exciting overtakes. Now he only needs to keep pushing. We can head to Malesia with more confidence, ready to make more improvements."
