During the Moto3 QP in Jerez, Romano Fenati (San Carlo Team Italia FMI FTR Honda#5) could not replicate the eighth place scored yesterday during free practice, improving by a tenth and posting the 18th best lap, + 1.958 behind the poleman Rins, who took the session with a 1'46.660.

Francesco Bagnaia (San Carlo Team Italia FMI FTR Honda#4) made more progress and was 23rd, taking more than two seconds off his previous best lap and cutting the gap with the front by over one second.

"During QP we couldn't find the setup we needed to start in the first three rows, which was our objective. Tomorrow will be tough, but the team and I will try to improve during WUP and I'm sure we'll find a direction and we'll be stronger during the race."
