MotoGP Sepang test - 'Maximum effort' required for Rossi

Nine-time MotoGP World Champion Valentino Rossi says he will have to put in the maximum effort to beat team-mate Jorge Lorenzo and the Repsol Honda pairing of Dani Pedrosa and Marc Marquez.

Nine-time MotoGP World Champion Valentino Rossi says he will have to put in the maximum effort to beat team-mate Jorge Lorenzo and the Repsol Honda pairing of Dani Pedrosa and Marc Marquez.

The Doctor acknowledges that the days when he was able to cock about on the final laps and do skids and wheelies to enterain the crowds are behind him and he will have to get everything out of the locker to beat the Spanish Armada.

"We already know that the Hondas are very fast – both of them – and that Lorenzo is very impressive. To fight with those three guys, we need to put in maximum effort and maybe more," said Rossi.
