Valentino Rossi will not make any decision on his options for the 2013 MotoGP season until the Laguna Seca or Brno races, he said today at Silverstone.

Rossi will wait for the new spec of Desmosedici GP12 to roll out at the United States Grand Prix to see if there has been a significant improvement and added that Jorge Lorenzo's early decision to sign for Yamaha had no bearing on what he would do next year.

"The decision of Jorge doesn't change a lot, I don't think. But for me it is quite early and we have to work towards making the Ducati faster and to improve the bike, and do some good result before I think about the future," said Rossi, speaking to bikesportnews.com at Silverstone.

"We have to wait for Laguna Seca minimum or around Brno, I think. I think Ducati is very happy to continue and we have started to speak a little."
