Ducati's Valentino Rossi has confirmed he will use the new chassis and swingarm he successfully tsested at Misano two weeks ago during this weekend's MotoGP round at the Italian track.

Although details of the new parts are predictably scarce, The Doctor said the frame differed in size and intimated the swingarm will be in a different position to the old one in the hope of finding the corner exit grip he is missing.

"It is a new chassis and a new swingarm we have modified in the size and the position. The comparison in the test was better than the bike that I used in Brno so I will start tomorrow with the new part. I think it will be from now until the end of the season but maybe something else in the future," said Rossi, speaking at Misano.

"The test we did here was two good days with quite good performance and good feeling but now we understand if we improve and how much compared with the other guys."
