Romano Fenati (Team Italia FMI FTR Honda#5) was among the fastest riders on track, having found a good setup for his bike immediately. He lapped in 2'02"202, + 0"487 behind poleman Folger, which granted him fourth place.

Alessandro Tonucci (Team Italia FMI FTR Honda#19) struggled more in the early phases, but with the help of his crew managed to climb back to 14th position with a 2'03"290. Given the small gaps among the frontrunners, he can still aim at high positions during the race.

"Great job today, both on track and in the pits. Starting at the front will surely help us a lot tomorrow. The bike is perfect, and I want to thank the whole team who did such a great job. We will fight for the podium tomorrow. I want to have fun, and hopefully be a protagonist in what looks like it's going to be an exciting race."

"It was a positive session overall. We definitely improved the feeling on the bike since yesterday. We still have to run a couple of options during warm-up. I want to get as many points as possible tomorrow."

Roberto Locatelli (FMI Technical Coordinator)

"Our riders were great in adapting to new track conditions, lapping in the dry for the first time this week-end. They are ready and we expect a positive race tomorrow. Romano can fight for the podium and Alessandro for the Top 10. During warm-up we'll verify our race strategy."
