Although rain was forecast every day we somehow managed four dry days of riding over Easter at the Brands Hatch Indy Circuit.Taylor's weekend got off to a terrible start as he clipped a kerb on the second lap of the first practice and crashed. This set testing back for a day but after much hard work from the rider and team the long weekend ended on a very positive note. After working through various chassis and engine settings, Taylor qualified 12th on the grid just half a second off James Ellison's pole position which was the fastest ever two wheeled lap of the Brands Hatch Indy circuit. Taylor then went on to score his first ever BSB point after finishing 15th in race one after the long thirty lap race. In race two he improved his performance again finishing in14th with a faster race time.Tarran had no such trouble through practice, consistently topping the time sheets over the weekend which included setting the fastest ever supersport 600 pole position lap for his first race on Sunday. With a race being cancelled at the previous Donington Park round, Tarran had three races in total which he won each time with a comfortable margin.Taylor;Brands Hatch was very productive for myself and the Bennetts Suzuki Team as we continued to make progress with the new GSX-R 1000 Suzuki. We all worked extremely hard so to be rewarded with my first BSB points made it all worthwhile. We're not quite there yet but we have found a good direction and I'm getting more confident at each outing. We have another test at Oulton Park on Thursday so I'm planning to make another step forward. Thanks as always to my team and sponsors and sorry for the accident damage on Friday!Tarran;I've had the dream start to my season winning four out of four races and already having a forty point advantage in the championship. I also know how quickly things can turn around in racing so I'm totally focused on my maintaining my consistency and finding ways to be even stronger for the upcoming rounds. Needless to say my McCAMS Yamaha Team and personal sponsors are giving me everything I need to fight for victories so a big thanks for having faith in me.
