ANDREA IANNONE IN SEPANG WITH HIS NEW AGV WINTER TEST 2016 HELMET

AND

VALENTINO ARRIVES TO THE 2016 WINTER TESTS WITH A REALLY... WINTRY HELMET!

For head to toe safety, Andrea Iannone chose Dainese and AGV to start off the MotoGPTM 2016 season and sported the new Pista GP Winter Test special helmet at the Winter tests in Sepang. During the three days of the test, the official Ducati rider raced remembering last year’s Phillip Island GP, when he struck a seagull while leading the race. The top of the helmet, rigorously finished in the Ducati flaming red colour, bears a caricature of an amusing white seagull with a dazed expression after hitting the Italian rider’s bike. The sides and the back of the helmet show Andrea’s nickname, “The Maniac” and the Ducati brand name.  The rider is in better shape and spirit than ever: “Every year I raise the bar, I aim higher and I improve. There is a lot of ambition.” Of his return to AGV he says: “I am very happy to be back with AGV, an Italian trademark like Dainese: they represent the top in terms of safety and quality. Let’s hope that the future will bring us satisfaction.”

A Corsa replica model will be available from September and will cost £649.99

During the first Sepang tests, Valentino Rossi arrives to the race track showing off the new “Winter
test” livery of his Pista GP. As usual, he surprises us all with amusing and original graphics that proudly
appear on his helmet during special occasions. In Malaysia temperatures are soaring hot, but Valentino greets everyone with a... charming and smiling snowman on his head, cartoon style, complete with yellow scarf and hat featuring the Yamaha logo. Besides the number 46 on the back, the blue background of the sides of the helmet is scattered with other typical winter drawings, like snow flakes and ice crystals. The brand new graphics are once again the result of the mind of the rider of the Movistar Yamaha team, and that of his friend and well known designer Aldo Drudi.

A Pista GP replica model will be available from September and will cost £899.99
