Jerez MotoGP race winner Valentino Rossi has again rejected the rear-mounted fuel tank upgrade for his M1 after an afternoon’s testing at the Spanish track, saying that it makes corner entry more difficult.

The Doctor, who dominated proceedings at the weekend, experimented with various chassis setups but came back to the one he used all weekend, which seemed to work.

“First of all we tried different weight distribution for the braking and also for the acceleration. But the bike become different to ride. The lap times are not so far, but the entry to the corner for me is more difficult. I feel more natural and more easy with my bike. So for this reason we continue with the normal tank,” said Rossi, speaking at the track.
