Mackenzies at Cadwell Park for BSB R08

We visited Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire last weekend for the eighth round of the British Superbike Championship. 

Taylor had another great weekend finishing 2nd in his fifteen lap race after qualifying on the front row of the grid.

Tarran struggled to find a good suspension set up on his Kawasaki at the narrow technical circuit, however, he still left with decent championship points and a much better understanding of how to get the best from his ZX6 Kawasaki.

I was really happy with our work as a team once again at the weekend.  We took a solid 20 points at a very challenging circuit which puts us in a strong position going into the last 3 rounds.  Oulton Park, Donington Park and Brands Hatch were three of our best rounds from earlier in the year so I'm already looking forward to getting back out there two weeks time.

I had a very tough weekend at Cadwell Park with 9th and 5th place finishes. As a team we were trying hard each session to improve the bike and we did make some progress throughout the weekend. We were much closer by the last race but unfortunately the podium was out of reach for me at this event. It was a damage limitation weekend but I've crashed there in the previous past three years so I have to be happy! I've dropped to 2nd in the championship but only 3 points behind so I'll worksuper hard to come back at Oulton Park and be fighting for wins!
